DJ Jon

DJ Jon Amaral grew up with a passion for music in Boston, MA. While attending an event a relative djed he knew that deejaying would be his future career. He started learning how to dj immediately on turntables and records. In 2001 he moved to Arizona and started to Dj school events and classmate's parties. This quickly turned into private and corporate events for companies like Quicken Loans, Nextiva, Tempe !2, Arizona State University, Midwestern University and even The Phoenix Suns. DJ Jon decided to take his skills on the road and expanded his djing to touring. He traveled all over the United States with premiere artists including: "Too Short", "Bone Thugs N Harmony", "Pitbull", "Baby Bash", "Paul Wall" and many more.

After a busy couple of years touring, 21 year old DJ Jon wanted to focus on building his career locally in the very popular nightlife area "Old Town Scottsdale". He started off opening up for local Djs all over town and then began to headline entire nights at various venues. Dj Jon held residencies at Trax, Crush, 6, Martini Ranch, PCL, Dirty Pretty, American Junkie, Smashboxx. After a few years of gaining notoriety in the area, DJ Jon was invited to DJ at various venues in Cabo San Lucas including Baja Junkie & El Squid Row. Currently he is a resident DJ on the Disney Cruise LIne Bahamas, HiFi Scottsdale, Bottled Blonde, Bevvy, The Mint, Wasted Grain and Boondocks. DJ Jon has also recently began spending time in the studio producing and remixing house, hip hop, trap and deep house tracks.
