DJ Automatic’s love of music began at an early age. Born in Minnesota and raised in Santa Fe his eclectic style and love of music was inspired by artists from Motown, Pink Floyd, Prince, Daft Punk and Tribe Called Quest. DJ Automatic began his love affair with the turntables at age 11. He purchased his first turntables with his brother and never shared! He was inspired by the growing Hip Hop/Turntablist movement & quickly turned his love into a career. Inspired by DJ’s like, Grand Master Flash, Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri, Invisibl Skratch Piklz & DJ AM, has helped DJ Automatic create a style all his own. From the hottest current Hip Hop, Rock, Reggae and Dance to classics from each genre DJ Automatic’s knowledge and love of music brings an incredible positive energy to every venue he performs in. DJ Automatic has earned a place as a member of the elite worldwide Shadyville DJ Crew (Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent) and started his own crew Vinyl Pusher Dj’s that consists of the top Dj’s in the Southwest.

Automatic has dj’d for Warren G, Lil’ John and Ozomatli, shared stages with platinum artists, T.I., Nas, Ludacris & Kanye West, produced and costarred in a nationally syndicated radio show from Houston, TX, hosted NBA All Star Weekend party and even volunteered to play in charity event “The T-Mac, (Tracey McGrady), Celebrity SoftBall Tournament”. Other great accomplishments include, MTV wrap parties, numerous film wrap parties, Red Bull snowboarding events, artist industry parties, and numerous clubs around the U.S. Automatic was also named Santa Fe Reporter DJ of the year for 2009.
